Claudia's Trips - Taiwan

In July 2008 I had the privilege of teaching a workshop on children's book writing with Lisa Rowe Fraustino at the Graduate Institute of Children's Literature at National Taitung University in Taiwan.

Here is the view of a Taoist temple from my hotel window.

While we were there, a typhoon struck Taiwan. The waves were amazing.
On the day we left Taitung, I posed for this farewell picture with our terrific grad student assistants, Winnie and Robert (Pon-Pon).
