In the summer of 2006 my family and I spent a week in Austria, visiting Vienna, Salzburg, and Hallstatt. Here I am by the fountain in the Mirabell Palace gardens in Salzburg that were featured in The Sound of Music.
This statue seems like something out of a fairy tale.
One beautiful evening we walked up to the fortress overlooking Salzburg to see the sunset.
